Hershey, often referred to as "The Sweetest Place on Earth" is located 14 miles east of Harrisburg in Derry Township, Dauphin County, only 8 miles from the Harrisburg International Airport.  Amtrak's Keystone Service trains run from Hershey to many of the nearby towns, making Hershey very accessible from most places.

As of the 2010 census Hershey's population was 14,257, an increase of approximately 12% over the 2000 census.  The Hershey Company factory and entertainment complexes and the Hershey Medical Center are both large employers in the Hershey area.

Hershey is home to the famous Hershey's Chocolate company, and is a major tourist destination with its many attractions:  Hershey Park, Hershey's Chocolate World, Hershey Gardens, and Zoo America, among many hotels, spas, golf courses, and other cultural, sporting and family attractions.
